Membership in KIXE establishes the foundation for public television in Northern California. Members' contributions provide the station with its largest source of revenue and allow KIXE to serve the community with quality programming.

Membership is an easy way to demonstrate your support for KIXE's commercial-free broadcasting services. Being a member is a way to say thanks for bringing educational, informative and entertaining programs into your home, schools and offices each day. It also provides a way to find out the opinions of those interested in the station concerning the programs KIXE airs.

Contributions to KIXE are tax deductible and make great gifts. KIXE is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization.Matching Gifts: A matching gift can come from a company or an individual to help kick off or boost a pledge drive. By calling in with your matching funds, you are saying that you will match pledges up to whatever level you choose. This is a good way to help increase pledges for KIXE.$3,000 a year LEADERSHIP CIRCLE Membership Level - In appreciation for this generous level of giving leadership circle members receive all previous membership benefits plus invitations to additional receptions, previews and event highlights beyond those of major giving membership levels. This level also includes private luncheons with management staff and complimentary use of KIXE's facilities for private parties or meetings, pending availability. With this level you will also receive our quarterly newsletter. $1,000 a year MAJOR GIVING Membership Level- In appreciation for this generous level of giving major giving members receive all previous membership benefits plus invitations to additional receptions, previews and events beyond those of the building block membership. The major giving level also includes our quarterly newsletter. $500 a year BUILDING BLOCK Membership Level - In appreciation for this generous level of giving this membership level will receive all basic membership benefits plus invitations to select receptions, previews and events KIXE takes part in each year. Along with honoring a child or love one with an additional foundation membership in their name they will receive a personalized membership greeting card. This level also includes our quarterly newsletter. $250 a year FOUNDATION Members Level - This membership level helps build a foundation for your local PBS station by honoring a child or love one with an additional foundation membership in their name along with a personalized membership greeting card. With this membership level you will receive all basic membership benefits such as the quarterly newsletter. $60 a year BASIC FAMILY Membership Level - This membership level comes with a quarterly newsletter to keep you up to date on station activities and discounts as well as insight into the daily operations of KIXE TV.$40 a year KIXE KIDS CLUB Membership Level - each Kid Club Member will receive a custom birthday card with fun surprises inside and a surprise scrubby buddy animal in the mail and exclusive invitation to our annual Kids Club party.$25 a year SENIOR or STUDENT Membership Level - This is a basic membership to help our local seniors and students stay connected to KIXE. This membership comes with a quarterly newsletter to keep you up to date on station activities and daily operations.$9 for Channel 9 / EVERGREEN Membership Level- This is an automatic, ongoing, monthly contribution from your checking account (EFT), credit card or debit card account. Your membership renews each year automatically. You receive all the benefits of the basic membership level and you can change or end your contribution at any time. PBS delivers big return for a small investment
Strong communities are the foundation of a strong country. And PBS builds communities every day. Our programs are free to everyone with a television set, and most of our funding comes from local viewers. So even if our living rooms are far apart, when we watch PBS, we’re growing – together.That’s why we ask you to do your part. We need your financial support to keep this service independent and commercial free.Without your support, imagine what would be lost: you’d lose the shows that expanded your mind as a child, the documentaries that opened up new worlds that you as a student, the non-commerical PBS news programs that keep you informed on world events and cultures and exposure the worlds of music, theatre, dance and art.Also, we rely on lots of volunteers – and voluntary financial contributions. Most of our budget comes from individuals who enjoy our programs – in other words, people like you and me. When we invest in PBS, we’re also helping bring programs to our neighbors who may not be able to contribute. PBS is here for all Americans, every child and every adult, every day.
