Once again our KIXE families and friends are faced with local tragedy.  Our hearts and prayers go out to all victims of the devastating Camp Fire in Paradise and surrounding areas.  As your local PBS station we want you to know that we are gearing up to bring our outreach efforts to the affected areas as quickly as we can.  On November 14^th Team KIXE was in Chico volunteering at the Elks Lodge Distribution Center.  We have also reached out to partner and collaborate with other local outreach efforts.  Additionally we are in the process of raising money to purchase books and school supplies for children in the affected areas.  We hope to bring Daniel Tiger to deliver those materials soon, and hopefully we can bring some smiles to some young faces.  Please feel free to call me at any time with ideas and suggestions as to how KIXE can best serve you.  We are a small non-profit, but we are mighty and we will always try our very best!
