[misc] => It is a wonderful thing to love what you do. I feel honored to work at a PBS station and better still I love that it turned out to be KIXE! This staff goes above and beyond to keep educational programming on the air for Northern California and we do it with smiles on our faces because we all share the same goal. I started at KIXE in the broadcasting department and I loved the feeling of pride I would get seeing my work air on channel 9. Then I moved to the Auction Department and here I get to communicate with our viewers and supporters. It is a great experience to work directly with our donators who support PBS. My generation grew up watching PBS. For me it was Sesame Street, Electric Company & Villa Alegre then off to school. Then it became home from work and watch Nova, Frontline or Antiques Roadshow. Now our 2 year old daughter is growing up watching PBS kids and we love it. Like I said I feel very lucky to be working at KIXE!
